Naomi Watts
Naomi Ellen Watts (born 28 September 1968) is an British actress. When her family moved to Australia Watts made her debut there with For Love Alone (1986). She later appeared on three TV series: Hey Dad.. (1990) and Brides of Christ(91) as well as Home and Away (91) as well as Flirting (1991). Watts was a flop as an actress when she first came to the United States. She acted in small-scale movies and eventually was a professional actress. She gained international recognition by playing the role. Watts was later chosen to play a journalist who was tortured in The Ring (2002). She was nominated to the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as a grieving mother in Alejandro film 21 Grams (2003).
