Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy (19 November 1975) is a Canadian singer and actor from Canada. She is most known for her role on the American television series Law & Order, on which she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons and Crossing Jordan, on which she played the lead character, Jordan Cavanaugh, for six seasons. She has also been acting in movies such as RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted as well as independent films Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born and was raised in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, her father was a meat-salesman, as well as an executive in sales and marketing. His job involved a lot of travel, which led to numerous relocations for the entire family. Maxine Hernnessy, Maxine's mother and secretary, died in 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener (Ontario) was involved in raising her daughter. John Paul Hennessy Jr. has a younger brother as well as Jacqueline is a twin sister. Jacqueline works as host and journalist for the Canadian television program. Hennessy is of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian ancestry on her father's side, and most Ukrainian Roma, as well as Austrian and Austrian ancestry from her mother's. She was a student at Stanley Park Senior Public School. Grand River Collegiate Institute was where she graduated. She was a busker in the subway system of Toronto. Hennessy and her sister were the first to appear as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who was the actress chosen to play the part, claimed she was a finalist to play Dana Scully in The X-Files. The role was played by her for three seasons before she was fired in the year 1996.
